The Abyssal Tahitian Peacock Pearl and Silver Pendant
A striking intersection of fire-formed sterling fine silver and rare 10-11mm natural saltwater Tahitian baroque pearls flashing with brilliant peacock overtones - its mirror-like lustre boasts intense jewel overtones, catching the light with iridescent flashes of deep forest green, oil-slick bronze, metallic charcoal, soft aubergine & purple.
A breathtaking study in high-contrast textures and deep-ocean luxury, this bespoke piece explores the intersection of sculptural raw geological formations and marine treasures.
Hand-sculpted using a custom fluid-casting technique, the pure silver frame mirrors the craggy, skeletal architecture of weathered deep-sea reef structures and cooled volcanic oceanic flows.
Cradled within the metalwork are three magnificent, hand-selected natural saltwater Tahitian pearls measuring between 10mm and 11mm. These premium grade gems feature a highly coveted 'baroque' profile—a completely organic silhouette that ensures no two pieces will ever be identical.
The Craftsmanship & Design Narrative
An exploration in juxtaposed forms and textures. The silver body setting is meticulously forged from pure, sterling fine molten hand-cast silver, forged to create an original and highly organic textural form - the silver then undergoes multiple reduction-firing and acid etching to bring out an ancient, frosted texture. This is juxatposed with the three matched Tahitian pearls, forcing the colour-shifting peacock tones of the pearl to explode with brilliant luminosity and contrast beautifully in both form and texture with the metal body. Brutalist in design, while softly elegant in nature.

The mirror-like lustre of the pearls boasts intense 'peacock' overtones, catching the light with iridescent flashes of deep forest green, oil-slick bronze, metallic charcoal, soft aubergine & purple.
The Chain:

Edition & Artisan Note:
Strictly a bespoke one-off creation. The item pictured is the exact piece you will receive. This is an exclusive 1-of-1 masterwork - due to the unpredictable way molten silver cools and forms after the flame, the block outlines and the flashes and gradients in colour of the pearls are all entirely unique to this pendant and unreproduceable - similar pendants can be made to order, but no two will be the same. Bespoke comissions accepted- we will curate the pearls and cast the silver to make a custom new creation as similar or as different as you desire.
